What this site is
KPV Reviews is a standing review of the peer-reviewed literature on the KPV tripeptide — a review in the scholarly sense, a reading and summarizing of the published studies rather than any product to be rated or bought. It renders no clinical service: it examines what others have measured, and it does not diagnose, prescribe, or counsel anyone on their health. It keeps no dispensary and no order book. Its concern is narrower and, we think, more useful — an accurate account of what the KPV studies found, attributed line by line to the papers behind them.
The writing leads with what studies measured — the species, the dose, the route, the outcome — and attributes each quantitative claim to a numbered source. Where the evidence is strong, we say so plainly; where it is absent, as with human clinical data for KPV, we mark the gap rather than smooth over it.
What the name means
The word "reviews" in this site's name is editorial, not commercial. It describes the work: a review of the published record — a reading and summarizing of studies — in the sense a literature review uses the term. It is not a collection of customer reviews, product ratings, or purchase recommendations, and nothing here is offered for sale.
We read the KPV literature the way one might read a single carved stone from a larger structure: KPV is a three-amino-acid fragment of the larger hormone alpha-MSH, and our subject is what that fragment does in the published research, nothing more and nothing less.
How we handle evidence
Three rules govern the content. First, every quantitative claim cites a real, source-verified study; we do not paraphrase findings that are not in the literature. Second, we describe research as research — "studied at this concentration in this species" — and never as a dosing recommendation for any person. Third, we distinguish KPV clearly from melanocortin agonists used for pigmentation: KPV's defining feature in the literature is anti-inflammatory action without the pigmentary effect of the parent hormone.
KPV's record is, today, a preclinical one. We think that is worth reading carefully and reporting accurately, which is the entire purpose of this digest.
